Warm welcome to a joint seminar hosted by the European Commission Representation in Finland and Climate Leadership Coalition.
The EU Emissions Trading System has been the most effective single reason Europe has managed to reduce emissions while growing its economy. This year will determine whether the EU continues to provide a predictable and ambitious price signal for clean investments or whether it risks losing its industrial lead. The question is not only about climate policy but also competitiveness, security and economic growth.
Top speakers from business and public administration will join the discussion at Paasitorni. These include Damien Meadows, Advisor on Carbon markets and clean mobility, DG CLIMA, European Commission, Kati ter Horst, Chief Executive of Outokumpu, Olli Sirkka, Chief Executive of Helen, and Riku Huttunen, Director General of the Energy Department at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. You are warmly welcome to join the seminar either on site at Paasitorni or online.
Please register by 14 April through the link.
