Road to COP

Climate Leadership Coalition, Nefco and the Nordic Initiative for Cooperative Approaches (NICA) are convening a high-level event for Nordic businesses to engage with Nordic state representatives and lead climate negotiators ahead of UN Climate Change Conference COP30. The event aims to brief the private sector on the key issues shaping this year’s climate negotiations, foster meaningful dialogue between private sector and national representatives, and spotlight the Nordic perspectives at COP30.

In addition to the policy dialogue, the event will raise awareness of carbon finance mechanisms under the Paris Agreement, with a focus on the private sector’s role. It will also present findings from two recent studies exploring private sector interest in carbon markets and demand of international carbon credits in the Nordics.

This event serves as a strategic opportunity to strengthen Nordic collaboration in carbon finance initiatives and accelerate climate action through public-private partnerships.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
