Climate Leadership Coalition is a leading Northern European non-profit climate-business network based in Helsinki, Finland. About the role
We are looking for a Member Relations Manager to join our seven-person team. As the Member Relations Manager, you will be in a key position to drive CLC’s member satisfaction, engagement, and the growth of our network. This role is crucial for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our influential member organizations and ensuring they maximize the value of their membership. This also provides us with insights to shape the strategic direction of our climate work.
Key responsibilities
Member relationship management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members and enable smooth and impactful member experience
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships
- Gather member insights and conduct analysis of member data to help design relevant strategic initiatives and projects as well as to give input to policy planning. This includes using data to improve member relationship management strategies and effectiveness.
- Ensure members are informed, engaged, and satisfied with CLC activities and value proposition
- Track member experience and satisfaction and conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to understand member needs, challenges, and priorities
New member acquisition and onboarding
- Identify and approach potential new members
- Present CLC’s value proposition, activities, and membership model to member prospects
- Manage and develop the onboarding process for new members, ensuring a smooth entry into the network
- Develop and maintain high-quality, member-facing materials, presentations, and proposals
Other Responsibilities
- Organize and host CLC member events
- Coordinate member participation in policy groups and events organized by CLC as well as international events
- Ensure member-related workflows and processes are up to date and efficient
- Maintain CRM records and membership data
- In collaboration with CLC Office Coordinator, manage membership documentation and the invoicing process
What will help you thrive in this role
- A strong passion for and commitment to climate and nature-related topics
- A results-oriented mindset with experience in key account management and/or sales
- Proven ability to manage and continuously improve key account management processes and take care of a large portfolio of accounts
- Proven understanding of Nordic business, enabling you to effectively navigate and align with the priorities of CLC's member base
- Experience of CRM systems and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- A proactive, hands-on working style, and willingness to collaborate within a small organization
- Fluency in English; Finnish and Swedish skills are valuable assets

Employment details
Employment details: The employment is permanent and full-time (100 %), though an 80 % working time could be negotiable. We hope the successful candidate can start as soon as possible, or ideally by March 1, 2026. The exact start date is negotiable. A 6-month probation period will apply.
The gross monthly salary for full-time work (100 %) is 4,100 – 4,600 EUR.
Our office is located in Helsinki. We work from the office at least two days a week, if not otherwise agreed, with flexibility for special cases. By default, the whole team is on-site every Tuesday. Work travel is limited, primarily consisting of a few trips per year in Europe, typically to Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Brussels. Evening or weekend work is minimal, expected approximately 4-6 times per year related to events. In this role, you report to Communications and Community Lead.
CLC will accommodate a flexible start to the working relationship in the case of relocation, but will not provide relocation services. Applicants are expected to have an EU work permit.
