Capgemini, a global business and technology transformation partner, operating in over 50 countries with 350,000 employees worldwide, has joined the Climate Leadership Coalition. The company brings its extensive expertise and commitment to sustainability to support the coalition’s mission of accelerating the green transition.
Sustainability is at the core of Capgemini’s strategy. The company maintains a long-term commitment to environmental responsibility and has taken significant steps to reduce its own environmental impact. Capgemini’s absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions have fallen by 93%, already achieving its objectives for 2030. The Group has also reduced its absolute emissions by 35% compared to 2019, on track towards its target of 90% reduction by 2040.
While Capgemini reduces its own environmental impact, its greatest contribution lies in leveraging its business expertise to support clients in navigating their own sustainability transitions. Through its work across industries, the company helps organizations define their sustainability goals and turn them into reality through digital transformations. Capgemini bridges the gap between sustainability ambition and business pragmatism, unlocking four sustainable business values: Efficiency at scale, smart sustainable design, disruptive edge through climate tech and responsible digitization.
