Climate Leadership Coalition is pleased to welcome PwC as its newest member. With 1,400 experts across Finland and a global network spanning 149 countries, PwC brings valuable expertise in strategic financing of green investments, integration of climate opportunities and risks into business strategy, and the development of sustainability reporting, further enriching the Coalition’s diverse network of climate-forward organizations.
PwC Finland supports its clients in addressing business sustainability challenges and acts as a strategic partner in the green transition. The company has set ambitious sustainability targets for its own operations, aiming to reduce environmental impacts in line with science-based emissions reduction goals and to align its development with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
“We are committed to accelerating the green transition and supporting Finland’s leadership in sustainable growth. We see CLC membership as a vital platform to help shape the future of a low-carbon economy in Finland. We look forward to collaborating with other CLC members and leading organisations to unlock new opportunities for clean investments and drive the green transition forward,” says Kauko Storbacka, CEO of PwC Finland.
“We are very pleased to welcome PwC to our network,” says Tuuli Kaskinen, CEO of Climate Leadership Coalition. “PwC’s ability to combine deep sustainability expertise with financial and regulatory insight will be a strong asset to our coalition. We look forward to their active participation in our network and strategic initiatives, and to the insights they will contribute from their engagements in Finland and globally. Their membership also reflects how, even in a more complex political environment, the climate agenda continues to advance, driven by practical solutions, cross-sector collaboration, and the growing demand for sustainable business transformation.”
As Europe’s leading non-profit climate-business network, CLC represents member organizations that collectively employ approximately a million people worldwide. CLC’s members believe that a profound transition to a sustainable world is imperative, economically beneficial and financeable.
