Finland will have its own national pavilion at the COP30 climate conference, which will be held in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025. The pavilion will offer Finnish participants a unique platform to showcase their solutions and expertise in global climate efforts.
The Finland Pavilion at the 2025 UN Climate Conference is organized in collaboration with Climate Leadership Coalition, the Confederation of Finnish Industries, the Finland Chamber of Commerce, the Technology Industries of Finland, and Miltton. The annual climate conference is the UN’s primary decision-making platform on climate policy and the world’s largest climate event, bringing together representatives from governments, businesses, cities, research institutions, and civil society.
The goal of the pavilion is to enhance Finland's reputation and that of Finnish organizations as leaders in climate solutions and to support impactful climate actions. The pavilion offers a platform to highlight innovative solutions for achieving carbon neutrality and addressing critical climate challenges.
“Finland established its first national pavilion at the COP28 climate conference in Dubai, where Finnish companies and organizations had the opportunity to present their climate solutions to an international audience and decision-makers. Our aim is to once again show that Finland’s impact on climate solutions is greater than its size,” says Tuuli Kaskinen, CEO of Climate Leadership Coalition.
Registration for companies, cities, organizations, and research institutions to participate in this year’s pavilion is open until 4 April 2025. The organizers are looking for participants to showcase Finnish innovations, solutions, and perspectives on mitigating and adapting to climate change.
Janne Peljo, Chief Policy Adviser at the Confederation of Finnish Industries, views the climate conference as a major opportunity for Finnish businesses:

The project steering group includes, in addition to business organizations, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the Embassy of Finland in Brazil, and Business Finland. Miltton is responsible for the implementation of the project, and the pavilion is funded through partner contributions.
